Captain’s Message 2023

Ladies,

It is an honour to be Captain of Clane Ladies G.C. for 2023.

This is our 35^th year in existence and I hope there will be many more.

Our Club has given us the opportunity to play golf, make new friends and enjoy many sociable events. It is like our second family.

I would like to thank our outgoing Captain Mary Courtney and the Committee for their hard work and commitment throughout all of last year.

Congratulations to Anne Reilly, our Vice Captain for 2023. I look forward to working with Anne in the coming year.

Thanks to Liz, Nellie and Rosaleen, who are stepping down from the Committee, having given several years of work and dedication for our Club.

Thanks to the Committee members who have agreed to stay on for another year, and a very warm welcome to Mary O’Neill and Yvonne Oman who have agreed to join us for 2023.

On behalf of the Ladies Club, I would like to wish John Crofton and the Men’s Club a very successful and enjoyable year of golf. I look forward to working closely with John in the coming year.

Lastly, I wish all of our members a great year of golf and I ask you to play as often as you can, especially our weekly competitions which are the backbone of our Club’s existence. It is a wonderful facility to have on our doorstep. Let’s use it.
