Captain Ian Crofton

I was delighted to be asked by Captain Brian to be his vice Captain in 2024 and now Captain in 2025. During my time in the club I have had the pleasure of knowing many great captains over the years. I will endeavour to follow in their footsteps and there are some big boots to fill. In 2025, our small club will celebrate 45 years of affiliation, it is a significant milestone and I am looking forward to the year ahead.

I am delighted that Tommy O’Rourke has accepted the role of Vice Captain and I wish Kevin Doyle the best as President. 

I would like to thank the committee members, both past and present, for serving the club. I look forward to working closely with the committee during my captaincy.

The relationship between the Ladies and Men’s clubs has always been excellent and it continues to thrive. I wish Captain Kate Bruce all the best for 2025.

I look forward to seeing everyone out on the course, sharing stories and creating new memories.

President Kevin Doyle

I am truly honoured and privileged to accept the role of President of Clane Golf Club for the coming year.

First and foremost, I extend my sincere appreciation to Aidan for entrusting me with this responsibility. I will strive to uphold the standards of excellence set by all past presidents of Clane Golf Club.  

I extend my best wishes to Brian for his tenure as Captain and I remain on hand to offer any assistance required.

I would like to express my gratitude to John for a fantastic year of golf.   

To all our members, I extend my warmest wishes for the year ahead.
