  • In view of the recent heavy rain & the saturated ground, all members are asked to co-operate as follows:
    1. Walk & pull caddy cars on the dryer areas of the course and or in the rough bordering the very wet areas. If you are able, please use a shoulder bag.
    2. Reduce the number of clubs in your bag to a maximum of 8 & remove materials which would add to the weight of your bag.
  • A great big thank you to the members who volunteered for The Kildare Alzheimer Society annual Memory Ribbon Collection Day on Thursday 21st November at Aldi & Dunnes Stores. We  collected a fantastic €2,278  & a total of over €7,000 was raised, which is really fantastic for this very deserving charity. A special thanks to Liz Higgins & Nellie Delaney from the Ladies’ Club. There were 28 volunteers who helped on the day. Well done to all!

  • Congratulations to Sean Connolly, Golfer of 2019. Top three are:

  • Thanks to those who played in the Home Outing in aid of Kildare Alzheimer Society & a total of €900 was raised for this deserving cause. To the few members that did not play, you can still contribute for this Charity by giving a donation to any Committee Member.

On the Weekly Competition:

* Winners will be cut 6 shots –
* Runner-up 3 shots & Non prize winners will get 1 shot back.
* Singles’ competition – Points from 10 to 1.
* All Stableford 9-hole competitions.
* Entry 1 Full Card __ Re-entry ½ Card  
For the Team: The two best scores to count.
* If there is no golf on either Saturday or Sunday there will be no team competition,
   but the singles will carry on for that week.
* If there is no golf on both Saturday & Sunday Friday’s will carry to the next week.
* At the end of the season there will be three team prizes and three individual prizes.
* A player may receive two prizes–team & singles.
* Each team will have a “Mulligan Week” which means that their worst week is excluded.
 * N.B. If we have less than 6 Team qualifying competitions out of the 12 there will be no Team Prize.

 * N.B. If we have less than 6 Single qualifying competitions out of the 12 there will be no Single overall prize.

 * If a player in a team participates in less than 50% of the competitions he will NOT receive a team prize if applicable.
 * None Prize Winners must have played 5 competitions.

 * Last weekend of competition: Priority will always be given to the None Prize-Winners with  a Prize-Winners’ class

    even without funding. There will always be at least 2 Classes.

  * None Prize Winners must have played 6 competitions overall.
